Linda, a recently retired teacher, has for many years been writing and recording music in her spare time, of which there wasn't much, being the mother of 4 children, one with significant disabilities. Music from her first two albums, God's Loving Care and Reflections, has had limited exposure through local concerts and speaking opportunities, but Linda hopes to expand sharing through this website.
In 2017, with the help of her 7-year-old granddaughter, bedtime stories were turned into their first book, Adventures of Princess Isabella - the Leprechaun. This picture storybook is illustrated by Isabella and includes a section where others can personalize the story by writing in their names, family, pets, and do the artwork. Discussion questions create teachable moments.
As Isabella matured, 9-year-olds read chapter books, so the story continues with Missing Pots Mystery , available early 2019. It has an extensive appendix with things done by children in the story including: recipes, crafts, and activities. As the epilogue of the book explains, a summer cousin camp provided the opportunity for the real kids who inspired the characters in the story, to do the activities. These are pictured in the book. The lyrics for Linda's most recent song: The Magic of the Moment , is also included in the book with directions to visit the website and hear it. Aye tis a lively tune done with an Irish accent that tells the story of the story.
